The Country Trails school community is remembering Natalia Grace Yanez, affectionately known as Talia, following her tragic passing. Although Talia left Country Trails many years ago, the impact of her life continues to be felt by former classmates, educators, and members of the community who remember her.

Talia attended Country Trails Elementary School during her early years. Her death has prompted an outpouring of sympathy from those who knew her and from others who were connected to the school community. Many are now reflecting on her life while extending their support to the Yanez family.

One of the qualities that stood out most about Talia was her compassion for animals. She devoted much of her time to caring for animals in need and opened her home to foster pets requiring safety, attention, and love. Her dedication to fostering and animal welfare reflected the kindness and generous spirit remembered by those close to her.

Memorial Services for Natalia Grace Yanez

Family, friends, and members of the community will have an opportunity to pay their respects during a memorial visitation on Friday, October 2, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 215 Thomas More Drive, Elgin.

Visitation is scheduled for 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m.
